NOT YOUR TYPICAL STORY
Diamond Billiards is a family owned and operated upscale poolroom nestled in the Village Marketplace Shopping Center, which is located in Midlothian, Virginia. Featuring a full bar and restaurant, Diamond Billiards has become a favorite billiards destination for local pool players and world class pool players, alike. With sixteen meticulously maintained nine-foot pool tables (five of them being Diamond tables), dart boards, restaurant seating, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere, patrons feel at home — whether they’re seasoned “pool sharks” or are just picking up a pool cue for the first time.
Owner Thomas Dorsey, a Billiards Congress of America certified pool instructor, is onsite most days and can be found teaching lessons and sharing his passion for pool through billiards education and promotion. Diamond Billiards is home to APA (American Pool Players Association) and BCA (Billiard Congress of America) pool leagues, and hosts tournaments throughout the year — including the prestigious Virginia State Nine Ball Championships — as well as various traveling and in house tournaments.
Along with committing to providing the best billiards experience, Diamond Billiards is also committed to serving dishes that one wouldn’t expect to find in a pool hall. Diamond Billiards is fortunate to have Head Chef Larry Carey in its kitchen. A consecutive three-time Style Weekly RVA Burger Week winner (2016, 2017, 2018) Chef Larry is committed to setting Diamond Billiards apart from the rest by creating dishes that pleasantly surprise new patrons, and that regulars can’t get enough of.
Whether you’re looking to improve your pool game, enjoy a delicious meal or have a fun date night or evening out with friends, Diamond Billiards is “not your typical pool hall”… and that’s a very good thing!
